Cherry Point Vineyards was established in 1990, and was licensed as a farm winery in 1994. Situated on a gravelly glacial deposit in the Cowichan valley, our terroir has been compared to the best of the Alsace and Chablis locations. We produce award winning varietal wines from our main varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, and Ortega. We also produce highly popular blends like Valley Mist and Valley Sunset.

Our commitment to the wine industry has led to the planting of a one acre test vineyard in 1992, where 32 imported grape varieties are being evaluated for their suitability to coastal climatic conditions.

Our commitment to the future of farming is demonstrated by our sustainable farming methods. Grape production is integrated with other farm activities such as sheep husbandry to improve the effectiveness of our conservation efforts.

Our commitment to our customers is the production of hand-crafted premium wines made entirely on our own premises, using 100% British Columbia grapes. We welcome visitors every day to our tasting room, art gallery, and picnic grounds, and conduct guided tours of the vineyard and winery on weekends.
